RampRage Wednesday 22 June
One of the highlight events of the week will be Ireland's No1 Extreme Sports Road show, Ramrage who are setting up their first ever gig in Letterkenny at The Letterkenny Aura Leisure Complex on Wednesday 22nd June from 6:30pm-9:00pm.
 
'RampRage' is a team of professional athletes delivering show-stopping demonstrations from the world of freestyle BMX, skate, blade. As part of a program of events surrounding the National Bike Week 2011, RampRage are teaming up with Donegal Sports Partnership to bring the good public of the area a high octane Freestyle BMX show as well as BMX workshops from the best in the business.
 
This is world class entertainment not to be missed!!
 
RampRage is a product of the charity T13, Ireland's Largest Urban Playground which incorporates sport art and dance through demonstration and workshop formats. For more information on how you can get involved in the urban revolution check out www.t13.tv.

SADDLE ROCK CYCLING CLUB EVENTS
1. Ladies Interested in Cycling-20th June 7:30pm
5 Mile charity fun run in aid of Breast Cancer unit Letterkenny. Leaving from G+S Costcutter Supermarket Carndonagh. Gents most welcome but must dress up. Prizes for most feminine/best dressed gent.
€10 sign on. Tea and sandwiches in G+S afterwards.
2. Charity Fun Time Trial- Friday 24 June 7:30pm
Leaving from Fishermans Inn Glengad. Team of 2 (1 racer + 1 mountain bike). Teams drawn from hat. Mountain bike and helmet provided.  For more information contact the Fishermans Inn or Phelim on 087 2758818
 
ERRIGAL CYCLING CLUB EVENTS
1. Kids Cycling- 20th June 6:30pm
Children from 6 years and up will cycle on closed roads around Glenvagh and will learn road safety and bike handling skills.
 
2. Team Time Trial- 21st June 7:00pm
Teams of 4 riders (2 experienced & 2 novice cyclists per team will cycle in relay race in 30 miles)
 
3. Family Cycle- 26th June 2pm
Family Cycle will leave from Arnolds Hotel and sign on will be from 1pm. Cycle start is at 2pm. Cycle will start in Dunfanaghy and will follow the road to Ards Forrest Park and return on the same road. Refreshments will be served in the hotel on return.
 
LAR CHOMAIRLE GHLEANN CHOLM CILLE EVENTS
1. Care for your bike- 21st June 2011-7pm
A bike maintenance workshop will be organised in order to show bike owners the best ways to look after their bikes. The workshop will be provided free of charge. It will be open to all members of the community and we hope that a good cross section of age groups will attend.
 
2. Community Cycle, Cashel, Gleann Cholm Cille- 24th June 2011-7pm
We will hold a community cycle event in Cashel, Glencolmcille, to encourage local people to get on their saddles, in particular those who do not cycle regularly. This event will be aimed at the entire family and we expect a mix of age groups and fitness levels.
 
3. Community Cycle, Carrick, Gleann Cholm Cille- 25th June 2011-11pm
A second community cycle will be held in the Carrick area to cater for anyone who could not travel to the initial cycle event but anyone including people who attended the first cycle, are welcome.
 
DONEGAL FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE
Promotional Workshop- TBA
This workshop will include a talk from Sustrans, health and physical wellbeing and the environmental benefits of cycling.
 
Bike Maintenance Workshop- TBA
To include how to look after your bike, annual checks and fixing minor problems.
 
INISHOWEN North Pole Cycling Club EVENTS
1. Main Inishowen Cycle Event- 18th June 6pm
This will be one of the main cycle events in the Inishowen area over the whole Bike week. Four different events offering something for everyone will be on offer. This is a perfect opportunity to get involved in bike week and encourage all the community to get up and get active. Four events on the 19th June are on offer. Leaving from St Orans National School at 10am three different cycle distances are on offer. A 50k cycle for the more daring cyclists, a 35k leisure cycle and a 15k fun run which we hope will attract the biggest crowd. The cycle will be lead by local councillors, business people, school teacher and a few notable local celebrities (characters) !!!!
The fun run is open to anyone over 12 years old and all other distance is geared towards beginners. For more information contact Marty on 074-9363844
 
2. Underage Skills Session-18th June 6pm
On the same day an under age skills training session will take place in the school grounds of St Orans at 10am. This is for under 12’s and is focused on developing bike skills, bike handling, safe cycling and most importantly fun for young people biking. This event will be fully supervised and held in a safe environment within the school grounds. So why not get the kids out and have a go at the 15k cycle yourself.

3. Off Road Mountain Bike Event- 22nd June 10am
An Off-Road Mountain Bike event will be held on Binnion Beach Clonmany at 7:30pm on Wednesday 22nd June. All ages and abilities are welcome. The event will be followed by a BBQ on the beach so bring the whole family for a fun packed evening. For more information contact Marty on 074-9363844
 
4. Women’s Cycle- 22nd June 10am 
A women’s training cycle will leave from Buncrana Leisure Centre at 7pm on 22nd June. This cycle is for beginners and for more information you can contact Georgina on 086-3273619.

Bike Maintenance Workshop: 23/6/11-7pm. We are holding a bike maintenance workshop to assist local dwellers to take care of their own bike and stay safe on the roads.
Have a Fun Cycle: 26/6/11- 1pm. A fun cycle will take place on this Sunday and all young and not so young as asked to attend and cycle together.
