Transport Transitions: Advancing Sustainable and Inclusive Mobility

Transport Research Arena, (TRA) is the foremost European transport event that covers all transport modes and all aspects of mobility.

TRA 2024 takes place in Dublin’s RDS, from today Monday 15 to Thursday 18 April, with the theme “Transport Transitions: Advancing Sustainable and Inclusive Mobility”, and the NTA  would like to extend a warm welcome to the thousands of people who are expected to attend.

Anne Graham NTA CEO at NTA stad at the TRA conference

TRA offers a great opportunity for researchers, policymakers and industry representatives to get together and contribute to the discussion on how research and innovation can reshape the transport and mobility system. The conference provides a unique opportunity to hear about mobility trends in different parts of Europe, learn from achievements in the industry as well as share best practices of policies and implementation.

NTA colleagues will be closely involved in the event from the off, with our CEO Anne Graham contributing in the first Plenary.

During the week, other colleagues will be presenting research papers, and bringing useful insight to bear in the various debates and discussions.

We are also organising a Special Session on Active Travel and an Education Session on designing urban bus networks.

We will be show-casing our zero-emission bus fleet that is already being brought into operation in Athlone, Limerick and Dublin and providing TFI bikes to make it easy for delegates to move around.

You’ll find our stand in the Exhibition Area, RDS Main Hall.
