The theme of the art competition is Cycling and Safety. Draw an A4 size poster focussing on making trips by bike safely. This includes trips to the library, school, shops or a weekend cycle with your family or friends. The poster should also contain a catchy slogan around the theme. The aim of the competition is to help raise awareness on the health and environmental benefits of everyday cycling and cycle safety.
COMPETITION RULES: The competition is open to children under the age of 12. The design of the poster shall focus on the theme of ‘Cycling and Safety’. Posters should be created with crayons, pencils, markers, paint, or ink. Each applicant shall submit one entry only. Each entry must clearly state the name of applicant, age and a parent/guardian contact number. These details will be kept confidential. A parent/guardian must also sign that the artwork is original.
A panel of judges from KCC will choose the winning entry. This decision is final and no correspondence shall be entered into. Entries will not be returned and the winners will be notified in July 2018. Submit your entry in the designated box in Newbridge Library. Entries must be received no later than 4pm on Friday June 15th, 2018
